Happy 4th of July!

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far and looking forward to the shortened week!

If you’re here in the United States, I hope your holiday is safe and enjoyable.

I will personally be taking some time off this week to spend time with family and enjoy the holidays. I love cooking with my husband, taking the kids to the beach, and crabbing in the beautiful Pacific Northwest!

Last winter, we finally left Texas and moved to be closer to family in Washington State. It’s been a big adventure so far, and I’m looking forward to summertime even more, as the weather is finally beautiful here. Grandma and Grandpa are right nearby, along with my siblings and a cousin for my kids to play with!

I’ve been traveling the past few years to come home and visit my family for the 4th, so I’m so excited that this year I actually live here! No traveling for me! That leaves more time for the beach, cooking, relaxing, etc!

Happy 4th of July from my family to yours!
